The law therefore promotes home ownership using funds from pension funds. Savings capital can be withdrawn or pledged for the purchase or construction of residential property, for a share in residential property or for the full or partial repayment of a mortgage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Key requirements for an early withdrawal or pledge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must occupy the property yourself.<\/li>\n<li>The minimum amount for an early withdrawal is CHF 20,000.<\/li>\n<li>Early withdrawals can only be claimed every five years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An early withdrawal or realisation of a pledge reduces the savings capital and affects the level of benefits. Voluntary buy-ins cannot be made until the early withdrawal has been repaid in full.<\/p>\n<p>Further information can be found in the leaflet on the <a
